A man is in the Stone County Jail after being arrested for a shooting incident last week.
According to the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, David Hively of Crane is being held without bond after being charged with felonies for unlawful use and discharge of a firearm. The probable cause affidavit filed by the Crane Police Department indicates that officers went to Hively’s residence after a caller indicated they saw him fire shots outside his window. Hively told officers that he thought someone was breaking into his truck though no victim has been identified.
Hively remains in the Stone County Jail awaiting his first court date on these charges.
