A man sustains only minor injuries after his boat sinks on Bull Shoals Lake.
According to the incident report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 11:00 Tuesday night near the Powersite Dam when 50-year-old Jeromy Phillips of Ozark attempted to drop the rear anchor on the boat when something went wrong, and the boat began to sink.
Phillips was able to get to safety prior to the boat sinking.
Phillips did sustain minor injuries but elected to seek his own treatment.
