An alderman in Hollister ends over 20 years of service to the community.
David Willard submitted his resignation as a Ward 2 Alderman during last week's meeting according to the Branson Tri-Lakes News. Willard had severed on the board since 2004 and had been a member of the City's Planning and Zoning Commission prior to his appointment to fill a vacancy on the board.
Jeff Long was appointed by the board to fill Willard's vacancy. With Willard having just be reelected to the seat in April, Long will serve until the next Municipal Election in 2024 when Long or someone else could be elected to fill out the remaining year of Willard's term.
