Leaders in Rockaway Beach are making efforts to revitalize the community as one of the attractions in the Lakes Region.
Mayor Jim Harriger, during an interview this week on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says the overnight lodging businesses are leading the way and already seeing some success.
Harriger also talked about the developing neighborhoods and upcoming events like the Fourth of July Celebration and also the drive to keep more people in the community involved in activities and continue with business rebuilding along Main Street.
