The wooden suspension bridge that takes travelers over the White River in the town of Beaver is set to reopen.
According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, The Little Golden Gate Bridge on Highway 187 is scheduled to reopen by 5:00 this afternoon. The bridge has been closed intermittently since early September for a retrofit project of the stringers on the structure.
ARDOT says no other closures of the bridge are planned at this time.
