Law Enforcement responded quickly, but found no evidence of a shooting Wednesday morning near Silver Dollar City.
According to a post on the Stone County Sheriff's Department Facebook Page, Sheriff Doug Rader reports that sheriff's deputies as well as officers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and from the Branson West, Kimberling City, and Reeds Spring Police Departments responded for a report of a possible shooter near the park. Officers quickly determined that the information was unfounded and no operations at Silver Dollar City were impacted.
Sheriff Rader in the post thanks all of the departments involved for the quick response to the potential incident.
