A recent trend has concluded as for the first time in several months, the Lakes Region is drought free.
The current map from the U.S. Drought Monitor indicates that no area of the Lakes Region in Arkansas or Missouri is in any area of drought. The recent precipitation in the area has brought the normal amount of moisture back into the region.
More rain is in the forecast for this weekend in the Lakes Region.
