A Taney County Man succumbs to injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash in Springfield in March.
According to the online obituary posted on this website, 41-year-old Thomas Smith of Hollister passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield on Saturday.
A release from the Springfield Police Department states that Smith died from injuries sustained in the March 28th vehicle crash. The incident report indicates that the the crash occurred on Fort Street in Springfield when the motorcycle Smith was driving southbound collided with a car driven by 76-year-old Richard Weter of Springfield. Weter's car was northbound on Fort making a left turn according to the report.
