A convenience store chain is transitioning its branding nearly two years after a company had bought the stores.
Kum & Go Stores will soon be operating under the name Maverick, the company that bought the stores. According to an Ozarks First Report, when Maevrick originally bought the stores, they announced they would continue to operate under the Kum & Go brand but decided to convert them to the name of the parent company several months ago. That transition is underway now according to Ozarks First with several Springfield area stores already with signs posted under the Maevrick Brand.
Kum & Go stores, including one in Hollister, will all have the Maverick signs up over the next few weeks according to the report which can be found on the Ozarks First Website.
