Branson Utilities Office Assistant Kristi Holland received the Employee of the Month Award on Jan. 10.
Branson Alderman Ruth Denham presented Holland with the award during that night’s Board of Aldermen meeting. “Kristi was nominated for her willingness to help a completely different department within the city when they needed extra help,” Denham said. She added that Holland did “double duty” by performing her role in the department and assisting the Planning & Development Department as they sought to hire someone to step into a role.
Denham also said Holland went beyond learning software. “Not only did she train to learn new software, often working after hours but also took initiative to train the new employee, once hired, as well. She did all this with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and showed great teamwork and leadership,” she said.
