Public Works and Engineering Office Assistant Kimberly Wilson is the Branson government's employee of the month.
Wilson was presented with the award during Tuesday night's Board of Aldermen meeting. Michael Woods, the department's director, presented Wilson the award with Human Resources Director Hayley Hutchins.
"Kimberly was nominated and chosen for her willingness to be proactive and pitch in until jobs are complete," Woods said.
Woods said Wilson was behind the designing of software aimed at tracking fuel used by Branson government employees. He highlighted the fact that her work goes beyond what she does in the department.
Wilson also works in the "service center." Woods said she does this on a full-time basis. "No matter what it is, she figures out what needs to be done and doesn't stop until the job is done and does so with outstanding customer service and a positive attitude," Woods said.
"We appreciate all you do, we appreciate your attitude everyday and congratulations from the city of Branson," he said.
