The Kimberling City Police Department releases information about the resolution of an incident near Port of Kimberling on Thursday.
The full release from the department is below:
Thursday evening, Kimberling City Police officers responded to a call involving an individual in crisis.
As officers arrived, the person fled the area, eventually entering a watercraft at Port of Kimberling.
Thanks to the flawless and swift response by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Water Patrol Division and Kimberling City Police Department, Officers boarded the Water Patrol Vessel and the situation was safely resolved. The individual was then transported to a hospital for care.
We are thankful for the outstanding teamwork and professionalism displayed by all agencies to include Port of Kimberling Security, POK management, Stone County Sheriff's Office, and Mercy EMS.
