A man is facing charges after assaulting police officers checking on his well being.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Joshua Mann of Kimberling City was in a parked vehicle in July when a Branson West Police Officer approached to check on his well being when Mann started acting in an aggressive manor. Stone County Deputies, who were on their way to the scene, arrived to assist with Mann continuing his aggressive actions and going in and out of the vehicle. Officers tried to restrain him to prevent the situation from escalating when he began resisting their attempts even going so far to attempt to bite one of the officers. Eventually, the officers along with the help of K9 Iya got the suspect into custody.
Mann is facing three felony charges for Assault and Resisting Arrest and is currently in the Stone County Jail on a $100,000 Bond.
