The Branson Police Department may have lifted their restrictions regarding officers with beards, but the newest officer is significantly hairier than any unshaven officer.
K9 Rico has joined the squad and is partnered with human officer Brendan Gamble. Rico is a 15-month-old Belgian Malinois trained in Arkansas. Rico is fully certified in narcotics, evidence, tracking, patrol work, and use of force.
Branson Schools Announces New Executive Director of Operations
BRANSON, MO (January 16, 2026) – Branson Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Matt Dean as the district’s new Executive Director of Operations. Dean will replace Dr. Chip Arnette, who will retire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year after 35 years of service in public education.
