A Joplin man drowns while kayaking on Table Rock Lake Thursday.
According to the report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Mark Williams was reported missing by his family. just after Noon with Williams eventually being found by some fishermen a short time later near Point 26. Williams was pronounced dead by Barry County Coroner Gary Swearingen just before 2:00.
This is the second drowning incident worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2022.
