JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Real Estate experts at AgentAdvice studied 11 metrics that show the desirability of an area. Jefferson City ranked number one as the most desirable city to live in.
The study broke down the average home size and price, the number of attractions and things to do, and the number of schools that rank in the top schools across America. The study also analyzed factors like average income, violent and property crime rates per 100,000 people, vehicle accidents, rent and living costs, and the percentage of residents living within half a mile of a park.
These elements were used to calculate a score out of 100 to finalize the ranking.
