A person was found dead in a Branson motel room over the weekend.
The release below is from the Branson Police Department:
On December 27, 2025, at approximately 5:17 p.m., Branson Police Department officers responded to a report of a deceased individual at the Four Seasons Inn located on 76 Country Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased individual inside a hotel room, along with another adult occupant. An autopsy was conducted on December 29, 2025. The medical examiner determined the preliminary cause of death to be consistent with an overdose and found no evidence of foul play. Toxicology results are pending.
The individual who was present in the room at the time was arrested for Failure to Report a Corpse.
This is an ongoing investigation with no active threat to the community.
