The Lakes Region continues to see drought reduction thanks to June Rainfall.
The impact has been felt especially in Missouri, where the Lakes Region currently shows no drought levels.
While Arkansas continues to have dry conditions, the rain has made a major in reducing drought levels. The Berryville-Omaha line continues to be the dividing line where areas north of the line are also drought free while areas of Boone, Carroll, and Marion Counties south of the line are Abnormally Dry. Areas of Newton and Searcy Counties remain at a Moderate Drought level though that is a significant drop over the last three weeks.
While the first few days of July have been dry and hot, more rain chances are in the forecast over the next few days.
