An early morning traffic crash near Ridgedale results in the death of a Hollister woman.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:40 Saturday morning on Highway 86 when a car driven by 51-year-old Lisa Browning crossed the center line going off the left side of the road and hitting an embankment. Browning, who was not wearing a seat belt according to the report, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This is the 92nd fatality in traffic crashes worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2022.
