People around Hollister High School may notice Emergency Vehicles and a Helicopter early this afternoon arriving at their campus. It is all a part of a simulation.
According to a release from the school district, they are hosting a mock crash event today for the junior and senior classes in the HHS parking lot. The event will replicate a realistic scenario of a car accident due to distracted driving and will involve real emergency responders, actors, and student participants.
The event will take place at 1:00 and will be followed by a student assembly where a representative from Cox Health will give a presentation.
