A man from Hollister is facing several charges for an incident earlier this month in Branson.
According to the Probable Cause Affidavit filed by the Branson Police Department, Brian Shutt broke into a residence using a vase to break a glass door then awaited the resident to come into the residence. When the resident entered, they were threatened with a BB Gun with the victim able to break free and contact law enforcement leading to Shutt’s arrest.
Shutt is facing charges of Burglary, Property Damage, and Assault and was released after posting a $10,000 Bond. Shutt is scheduled to appear in Taney County Circuit Court on July 22.
