A variety of weather could impact the Lakes Region over the next 48 hours.
Gusty winds and a slight chance of rain are in the forecast for this afternoon. A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of northwest Arkansas including Carroll and Madison Counties today.
A Flood Watch goes into effect tonight for southern Missouri with possible heavy rain and even a slight risk of severe storms going through Thursday. Late Thursday, rain could change briefly to snow however little if any accumulation is expected in the Lakes Region.
