The rounds of heavy rain that moved through the Ozarks led to flooding which in turn led to a pair of swift water rescues.
According to reports submitted to the National Weather Service Office in Springfield, one water rescue occurred on Springfield's south side near Sequiota Park when according to a 9-1-1 Call, two cyclist got trapped by the high water.
Another water rescue occurred near Wheaton in Barry County where according to Fire and Rescue Officials, people were rescued from a low water crossing at the intersection of Highway W and Farm Road 1040.
No injuries were reported.
