Heat Advisories Extend to Entire Region, Severe Thunderstorms Possible

The National Weather Service has issued Heat Advisories for all of the region on Tuesday.

The Heat Advisories cover the Lakes Region in both Arkansas and Missouri through Tuesday. 

High Temperatures on Tuesday will approach 100 in much of the region with Heat Index Readings as high as 110. 

While most of the week is expected to be dry, another round of strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in the region this afternoon and this evening. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for southwest Missouri until 9:00 this evening.
