A hearing is scheduled for October for a man charged with Assault and Armed Criminal Action.
According to court documents, Joshua Allen of Rockaway Beach is accused of blocking a person's car from leaving the area then when someone tried to help, Allen is accused of shooting at that person, who did punch Allen in the head before Allen opened fire again according to the probable cause affidavit.
Allen had been in the Taney County Jail in Forsyth prior to the setting of a $2,500 Bond on Monday.
A preliminary hearing on the case is scheduled for Taney County Circuit Court on October 27.
