A Harrison Police Officer is injured in a stabbing incident that took place Sunday at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
Police Chief Chris Graddy tells Ozarks First that officer Matt Odom received two stab wounds after being called to the hospital on a report of a man causing a disturbance. Graddy said that despite the stab wounds, one which was close to his neck, Officer Odom was able to subdue the person until back-up arrived. Odom was treated at the hospital for his stab wounds and was later released.
Graddy says the suspect, yet to be identified, is currently in the Boone County Jail awaiting charges.
