Manager of the Boone County Regional Airport Judy McCutcheon said Tuesday that groundbreaking for the new box hangar is set to start next week.
McCutcheon said during KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Tuesday that the new hangar is scheduled to arrive at the end of September. "It's been very long awaited, so if all goes well we hope to have a tenant in that hangar by mid November," McCutcheon said.
She said the money is "staying here" because a local contractor is involved. The airport received grants. Parts needed for signage are nine to 12 months out.
The full interview with McCutcheon is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
