Fans heading to the annual Lendel Thomas Basketball Classic next week at Harrison High School will see the main route to the school reopened.
The City of Harrison announces via Facebook that Goblin Drive reopened to traffic Tuesday afternoon. The City posted several videos of the final work being done and traffic using the new roundabout designed to help traffic congestion at the start and end of the school day.
Officials say there is still work to be done including installation of additional signage and street lights, but the that the road is opened.
School traffic worked around the construction with temporary routes and drop-off locations during the first semester of school.
The Lendel Thomas Classic takes place next Monday through Wednesday at Goblin Arena.
