Charges are filed against a Taney County Man for allegedly sexually abusing a female victim over a six year period.
According to court documents filed last week in Taney County Circuit Court, a probable cause statement submitted by the Taney County Sheriff's Office indicates that Timothy Hurst of Forsyth admitted to having an affair with a girl who was 16 at the time the affair commenced in January of 2019. The statement goes on to say that the victim in an interview with investigators felt force to do sexual acts with the Hurst between 2019 and March of this year.
Hurst is facing three charges felony charges of 2nd-Degree Statutory Sodomy and could face up to seven years in prison for each charge if convicted.
