The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a man has died in a one-vehicle crash late Friday night.
According to the report, the 33-year-old driver of a pick-up traveled off the right side of Sundown Lane north of Rockaway Beach around 10:30 pm striking a tree. The driver, who was not wearing a safety device according to the report, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Taney County Deputy Coroner Bryan Koppitz.
This is the 64th fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2025.
