UPDATE: The Board of Aldermen accepted the resignation of City Attorney Tim Davis and decided to accept applications for those interested in filling the Mayor's Position until the end of the month then to appoint a new Mayor at the July Board of Aldermen Meeting.

The City of Forsyth will hold a Board of Aldermen Meeting this morning in the wake of voting to impeach the city’s Mayor.
Among the items on the agenda will be to accept the resignation of the City Attorney as well as to determine how to move forward now that Mayor Julie Aubuchon has been removed from office.
Last week, a process that lasted several months concluded as the Board voted to remove Aubuchon from office due to her creating a hostile work environment and her conduct in office.
The meeting begins at 9:00 am at City Hall.
