Rain will be moving through today in several waves with flooding and severe weather potential.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for southwest Missouri and portions of northwest Arkansas today thru early Thursday morning. Additional rainfall between two to three inches expected with possible localized higher amounts. Due to several rounds of rain over the past several weeks, the potential for flooding exists in the region.
In addition, a Slight risk of severe weather is possible as the first wave of storms develop with hail and high winds the primary threats.
Rain is expected to continue through Thursday.
