The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the Missouri Ozarks beginning this afternoon and running into Friday morning.
Periods of heavy rain are possible with the best chance in the Lakes Region taking place late this afternoon and this evening. Most of the region in both Arkansas and Missouri is at a Slight Risk of severe weather with the primary threats damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph, large hail up to quarters, and localized heavy rainfall.
Rain chances will decrease on Friday with rain out of the area by Saturday with temperatures surging into the 90s by Saturday.
