With Spring officially ending this afternoon, temperatures will begin to climb as the Summer Season kicks in.
According to projections from the National Weather Service, temperatures will begin the rise into the 90s and Heat Index Readings by the end of the weekend could be above 100. Temperatures will approach the 100 mark as next week begins.p
Though the region has had a couple of periods of hot temperatures already, the summer pattern will be settling in as the season changes.
Very little to no rain is expected over the next week according to forecasters.
