Firefighters Team-Up to Battle Houseboat Fire

Three area Fire Departments team-up to fight a Houseboat Fire Tuesday afternoon on Table Rock Lake.

According to a post from the Western Taney County Fire Protection District's Facebook Page, they were requested by the Omaha Fire Department to assist with the boat fire along with the Oak Grove Fire Department.  

Upon arrival, the WTCFPD Boat #1 with four volunteer firefighters on board arrived at the scene to find a houseboat fully involved and nearly burned to water level. According to the post, Boat # 1 was able to extinguish the blaze and no injuries were reported.
