A fire breaks out at an apartment north of Branson Wednesday night.
According to a post from the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, units arrived at the scene of the fire on the deck of an apartment located on Lost Street Drive just before 11:00 pm. Arriving units arrived to see fire and smoke visible from a 12 unit building and quickly determined the fire was coming from the back deck of one unit. The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported with Taney County Ambulance assisting on the scene.
The post says that not exact cause of the fire has been determined but there were smoking materials in the area where the fire started.
