Crews from the Western Taney County Fire Protection District battle a residential house fire in the 900 block of Bee Creek Road Wednesday night.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, firefighters were dispatched to the residence around 10:40 and upon arrival saw heavy smoke coming from the building. They discovered the kitchen was on fire which had also spread to the attic. Firefighters were able to knock the fire down quickly and remained on the scene for around two hours. While the fire started in the kitchen area, the exact cause is sill under investigation.
All residents were able to evacuate the house and no injuries were reported.
