The Central Taney County Fire Protection District along with firefighters from Forsyth and Western Taney County battle a blaze earlier this week near Forsyth.
According to a post from the Central Taney County Fire Facebook Page, crews were dispatched to the fire on Highway 160 just before 6:30 Tuesday evening. The fire was spreading rapidly when units arrived but was quickly brought under control. Taney County Ambulance personnel also responded to the scene.
