Western Taney County Fire Protection District announced on their Facebook Page that something important is under review.
On Saturday, a post to the Facebook Page states that the district is "reviewing responses to propane emergencies related to hot weather." This is a month-long process.
"Last night our Volunteer Firefighters reviewed propane hazards and how to cool a tank that is venting and on fire. While the fire is burning, you know exactly where the propane is. The goal is to cool the tank enough so you can shut off the flowing propane and the fire goes out," the post states.
