Fire at Transfer Station in Branson West

The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District reports a fire at the Republic Services Disposal Transfer Station.

According to the release from the district, firefighters responded to the report of vehicle fire at the transfer station in Branson West around 10:45 Sunday night. Upon arrival fire personnel observed 3 transfer trucks fully engulfed in fire. Fire crews worked to extinguish the fire that was contained in each of the trucks. The release said it took large amounts of water and foam before being fully extinguished. 

The cause of the fire is unknown according to the release.
