F Highway near Bull Creek was closed for a time Thursday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash which resulted in a fire and injuries. aa
According to a post from the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, engine crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident which occurred just before 3:00 on Highway F in Bull Creek Village involving two pick-up trucks, one which was on fire. Firefighters were able to put out the fire but the road was closed for a time to clean-up the scene and remove the vehicles from the scene.
Taney County Ambulance and the Missouri State Highway Patrol also worked the crash scene. According to the Highway Patrol Accident report, the crash occurred when a pick-up driven by 55-year-old George Loving of Rockaway Beach crossed the centerline and hit the other pick-up forcing both off the road. Loving and the people in the other pick-up, Hubert and Sharon Puckett also of Rockaway Beach, sustained serious injuries and were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
