One of the area Disaster Recovery Centers to aid victims of the Memorial Day Weekend Tornado is closing.
According to a release posted by KTLO, the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center at the Boone County Government Center in Harrison will close after today. The center opened over three weeks ago to be a resource for people trying to recover after the Tornado ripped through parts of Boone and Marion Counties on May 26th.
The release goes on to say that the Recovery Center at Summit in Marion County is open today for walk-ins but no word on how long that facility will be available.
