While snow will end in the Ozarks early Friday morning, one area Emergency Management Director says travel could still be tricky over through Friday.
Branson Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Ted Martin says during Thursday's "Ozarks Now" Program on KRZK that the continuing snow not only makes keeping roads clear tough but that drifting snow is another hazard motorist should be aware of if needing to travel.
While snow will get lighter through the day, the cold conditions according to Martin will make it ever more important for motorist to plan on plenty of extra time to get to their destination and pack emergency supplies in case problems come up. Martin echoes other officials in saying that travel should be kept to a minimum through Friday.
Forecast temperatures are for below freezing conditions under Saturday afternoon when temperatures rebound into the 40's for afternoon highs.
