Elevate Branson's ride program offers transportation for Branson's workforce and J-1 workers.
During KRZK's "The Upside," Bryan Stallings said the program started on Feb. 17. He said the service is divided into two programs. "We have a rental program for any of our employers that bring in J-1 workers or BridgeUSA workers," Stallings said. This program is equipped with 49 CC scooters. Stallings explained that J-1 workers can rent one of the scooters during the work period.
The scooters are available for rent at $50 a week. Stallings said this also enables J-1 individuals to explore Branson. "The second program is an ownership program for our local workforce," he said.
Stallings said this program provides a new scooter, protective gear, scooter training, insurance and maintaince for "slightly over $5 a day." The requirements to qualify are employment-based.
"So, as long as you are employed for 30 days, you can provide pay stubs to show that and you can pass the insurance and the scooter school, you're good to go."
The Elevate Branson Ride number is 417-295-7575. The full interview is available below.
