Brian Seitz will maintain his position in the Missouri House as he wins reelection in Tuesday's Midterm Election.
The Republican Seitz picked up a huge win getting nearly 78% of the vote in outdistancing Democratic Challenger Ginger Witty 8,730 to 2,480 votes.
The House race was the only contested race in the Missouri Lakes Region, but it was also the first Election that included early voting in Missouri. In Taney County, 1, 905 ballots were cast during the early voting period while in Stone County, over 1,200 ballots were cast in the early period.
Overall, voter turnout was reported at 47.63% in Taney County, 54.8% in Stone County.
As of late Tuesday night, Eric Schmitt has been projected the winner in the U.S. Senate Race in Missouri while Scott Fitzpatrick had a huge lead in the State Auditors Race. Eric Burlison had a huge lead in the 7th District Congressional Race.
In Arkansas, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the projected winner in the Governor's Race while John Boozeman has been projected to retain his seat in the U.S. Senate.
Among the ballot issues, the legalization of Recreational Marijuana was a split, passing in Missouri by a 53 to 47% margin while it failed in Arkansas by a 57-43% margin.
Locally, ballot measures to help with Public Safety in both Nixa and Ozark failed.
