The mid-term Election Season will end with the Election Day just a couple of days away.
Early voting in Arkansas and Missouri wraps-up on Monday with the polls opening Tuesday for the official Election Day. Laws in both Missouri and Arkansas now require a Photo ID be presented at Polling Locations prior to being allowed to vote. People who do not have the ID can cast a Provisional Ballot and then get proof of ID to the local Election Official before ballots are certified.
On the Missouri Side of the Lakes Region, most races are not contested for area officials with the 156th State House Seat one of the only contested races for voters primarily in the Branson and Hollister areas.
In Arkansas, there are many Municipal Races to go along with County and State Races. Several cities including Harrison have contested Mayoral Races.
More information for specific areas can be found through the area County Clerk offices.
