The Downtown Branson Streetscape Project takes another major step forward as the street is now fully reopened to traffic.
A post this morning on the City of Branson Facebook Page announces the reopening of the east section of Main Street that closed down in June as the second part of the project to update streets, sidewalks and infrastructure between Veterans Blvd. and Sycamore Street. The street opened about a month ahead of the scheduled deadline according to the release.
The first part of the project closed the west section of Main Street during the spring.
The City of Branson and the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce are planning a Fall Festival to celebrate the new look downtown on October 3 and 4.
