Law Enforcement and Conservation Officials are looking for information on the illegal disposal of deer carcasses and hides.
According to a Facebook post from the Forsyth Police Department, around 100 carcasses were found on private property without the owner’s knowledge or permission.
Missouri Law states that a licensed processor is required to dispose of the carcasses in a licensed landfill.
The Forsyth Police Department and the Missouri Department of Conservation are investigating this incident. People with information on this incident are encouraged to contact either agency or contact the MDC’s Operation Game Thief Hotline at 1-800-392-1111.
