The lengthy COVID-19 Pandemic has taken its toll on people in many different ways according to an area Health Official.

Lynne Yaggy, Chief Nursing Officer and VP of Clinical Services at Cox Medical Center Branson, says in a Monday interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" Program that the frustrations of family members and others that have been impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic are often taken out on front line workers, especially in the Health Care Industry.

Yaggy says that though the program was already in development prior to the pandemic, the new Panic Button System that allows workers to call for help in the hospital if a situation is escalating was expediated due to the number of violent confrontations tripling over the last year.

Yaggy also says that several trends point to the number of cases beginning to decrease in the area.
