7th District Congressman-Elect Eric Burlison makes a stop in Branson earlier this month to visit with a Republican Group about his upcoming first year in Washington.
Burlison will take over the seat that represents southwest Missouri in Washington from Billy Long, who did not run for another term so he could make a run at one of the state’s U.S. Senate Seat. Burlison told the local Missouri Republican Assembly Chapter that he plans to take his conservative values to Washington and also encouraged local citizens to have more of a voice in government throughout the year and not just on Election Day.
A complete recap of Burlison’s visit can be read on the Branson Tri-Lakes News Website.
